How To Find The Perfect Workout Bra

by Bojana Graus

Whether you like to do more high-intensity workouts or if you like to do things like yoga, going into your workout equipped will help you enjoy your workout class a lot more, specifically if you are wearing the right workout bra. If you are in the market for a workout bra, then this article is just the thing for you. Read on to learn a little bit more.

Support

The first thing you will want to look for in a bra is one that matches your exercise. For instance, they make bras that are for low impact, medium impact, and high impact workouts to give you the correct amount of support. For instance, if you are going to be doing a lot of high impact workouts, then you are going to need a bra that allows you to jump, run, and workout with your breasts moving much (if at all).

Fabric

You wouldn't work out in your regular bra for a variety of reasons including the fabric. When you are shopping for an exercise bra, choose one that is made up of a lycra stretch fabric; this type of fabric is a lot more breathable and will also give you the freedom you need to move around. One thing to know about this type of fabric, though, is that for it to maintain its shape and flexibility, you need to wash it in cold and then hang it out to air dry.

Back Support

Another thing you will want to look into is a bra with the right amount of back support. Depending on how large your breasts are, you may need a bra with more back support than if you have smaller breasts. If you have large breasts and are doing a high impact exercise, then make sure that you choose a bra that has thick elastic straps that make a cross in the back; this type of bra strap will give you the most support possible.

Working out when you don' have the proper support can be miserable; especially when it comes to bra support. If you want to learn a little bit more about how you can find the right bra for you based on the activities that you like doing, then reach out to an exercise clothing company near you and go get fitted for a bra. Once you have been fitted, then you can find one that meets the rest of these criteria.

About Me

Finding Appropriate Attire

For years, I worked for a company that didn't care much about what I showed up in for work. I would wear really casual clothing, such as a tank top and a pair of cut off shorts. Unfortunately, once I got a better job, my new employer was less-than-enthused about my choice of duds. She explained that they were trying to make the customers feel comfortable and improve the store culture and asked that I wear more professional attire. I started shopping for items that would look neutral, and I was able to find some pieces that I looked great in. Check out this blog to learn more about finding appropriate attire.
