by Bojana Graus

If you have big golf trip planned with your friends or business acquaintances but aren't necessarily a big golfer yourself, you may be wondering what on earth you should pack to wear. Depending on the weather and how long you're going to be playing for, this article will list a few different suggestions of things that you can wear so that you're not the only man on the golf course in the wrong golf clothing. Are you interested in learning more? If so, read on.

Hot Weather

If you're going to be spending your golf vacation somewhere warm and humid, then you know you have to dress accordingly. Because so many golfers like to golf in hot weather like in Florida, there are tons of men's golf apparel designed for these trips. For instance, you can pack a pair of golf shorts that go just right above the knee, which will help to keep your legs cool. Then on top, you can wear a short-sleeved golf shirt with a collar that is made of a breathable fabric. The lightweight fabric will help to keep your body cool while the collar will actually help to keep your neck from burning. To top off the whole outfit, don't forget to wear a baseball hat that's made of a light weigh material; this will help you keep the sun out of your eyes and see the course better.

Cold Weather

Now that you know what you can pack for hot weather, you may now be wondering what you can pack for colder temperatures. Depending on how cold it is, you can layer your outfit so that you can remove layers. For instance, you can start the morning off in a pair of golf pants that have enough movement so that you can get your swing in. Then you can layer it with a short-sleeved golf shirt, a sweater that goes over the top, and if it's really cold, then you can put on a down coat over that. Then, as the temperatures warm up throughout the day, you can just remove a layer or two.

The last thing that you want to do is look like a fool in front of coworkers, potential clients, or friends when you're on the golf course. To learn more about what kind of men's golf apparel you should buy, visit a golf store near you and they can help.

About Me

Finding Appropriate Attire

For years, I worked for a company that didn't care much about what I showed up in for work. I would wear really casual clothing, such as a tank top and a pair of cut off shorts. Unfortunately, once I got a better job, my new employer was less-than-enthused about my choice of duds. She explained that they were trying to make the customers feel comfortable and improve the store culture and asked that I wear more professional attire. I started shopping for items that would look neutral, and I was able to find some pieces that I looked great in. Check out this blog to learn more about finding appropriate attire.
